Thinking of a vegan diet means for a lot of people, renouncing to the taste of goodies and treats at all, that are usually considered makeable only with products coming from animals, such as butter and eggs; however it’s not like that, you’ll just have to try our vegan tiramisu recipe!
Therefore we are giving you the chance to prove wrong whoever thought differently with this recipe.
Ingredients for 4 people:
- Sweet crackers or sponge bread (no eggs) as you prefer
- 11 fl oz soy milk
- 1 oz of pure flour or potato flour
- 1 ½ oz seed oil
- 1 ½ oz brown sugar
- Cocoa powder
- Dark chocolate fudge sprinkles (as far as needed)
- Coffee (for dipping the sponge bread or sweet crackers)
Preparation:
The variation between a regular Tiramisu and a Vegan Tiramisu is that the cream needs to be prepared first in the vegan recipe.
Mix the flour with a bit of soy milk to avoid the creation of any lumps; then, warm up the dough with sugar, oil, and the leftover of the soy milk. As soon as the cream starts to boil, turn off the stove and continue to stir thoroughly for few more minutes.

Once the cream is cooled, you can go ahead and cut the sponge bread in two halves (or more layers), or you can put the crackers in the pan or in single cups, making sure you dip them in coffee first.

Starting from the bottom, add more layers, and spread the cream on each one of them. On the top layer, sprinkle the cocoa powder all over and complete by putting the dark chocolate sprinkle.
Once done, it’s recommended that you let the vegan tiramisu rest in the fridge for few hours. Serve cool.
