Make your own lavender body scrubs with these two easy recipes!
You’ll be surprised by what you can achieve using just a few simple ingredients, 100% natural guaranteed!
A) Face scrub made from lavender.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of dried lavender
- 2 cups of sea salt
- ½ cup almond oil
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of vitamin E
- 2 drops of lavender essential oil
Preparation: get yourself a grinder, a glass container, a spoon, sealable jar and a towel. Chop the dried lavender and mix the lavender, oil, salt and vitamin E until well combined. Let the mixture stand for 30 minutes. Don’t worry if the salt settles to the bottom and the oil floats to the top, this is completely normal. Finally add the essential oil of lavender.
The best thing to do to facilitate its use is to transfer the lotion to a sealable container with a wide opening. The lotion can be applied to wet skin and massaged in circular movements for 30 seconds before rinsing off with warm water.
Dab your face with a clean towel and apply a non-oily moisturizer to achieve soft and sweet smelling skin.
B) Body scrub made from lavender and sugar
Ingredients:
- ½ cup powdered lavender flowers
- 2 cups non refined sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cream with vitamin E
Preparation: Put the flowers and sugar in a glass container with seal and shake vigorously to mix the two ingredients, then add the cream and mix with a wooden spoon. Place the composition in a cool, dry place for 48 hours. Before using the product, remember to shake well, then take a small amount and rub it over your body in circular motions. Rinse with warm water.
For both recipes, we recommend that you keep the product in glass containers not metal ones. With metal containers there is a risk of metal deposition which could then be bsorbed by your skin.
Using these two natural and low cost recipes you achieve younger, more supple and perfumed skin for a really relaxing effect.
